Columbia/Barnard Hillel’s
role on campus is to add value and
meaning to the lives of Jewish students, to help create positive Jewish
experiences and provide an opportunity for students to express living
Jewishly
in their own way. Hillel provides a high quality program that is as
broad and
diversified as possible to reflect the myriad of student interests
– social,
cultural, religious, Israel,
and social action. We are confident that there is a program, speaker,
celebration, or volunteer opportunity for every Jewish student on
campus.
Hillel is funded almost completely by
alumni, community
members and parents who recognize the important role Hillel plays on
campus and
its impact on young Jews. We
